Grenada
A flag framed by a red border with six yellow stars, enclosing four green and four yellow triangles radiating from a red central disk with one yellow star; a nutmeg symbol appears near the hoist. It was adopted on independence from the United Kingdom.

The six stars in the border and one in the center represent Grenada’s seven parishes, with the central star standing for Saint George’s Parish, where the capital is located.

The nutmeg pod represents Grenada’s famous spice industry and its nickname as the ‘Isle of Spice’.
